In June, I went on my annual Baseball and Beers Trip with my dad. This…
The Best Beers (and a Cider) I Had in July 2025
After a busy beer schedule in June, I indulged quite a bit less in July. It’s good to take breaks. Still, I made it over to one of my favorite Denver craft breweries, Comrade Brewing, and enjoyed some family time at Stem Ciders’ Acreage location in Lafayette, CO—two places in the Denver area that I highly recommend trying (or frequenting).

Dankonomics
Comrade Brewing
American IPA, 6.3% ABV
Brewed for the Legends of the West Beer Fest hosted by Grains of Wrath in Washington. This West Coast IPA is hopped with Krush, Mosaic & Cryo Columbus. As the name implies, incredibly dank, yet this beer is still crisp. The berry and stone fruit flavors from the Mosaic and Krush hops enhance some of the sweetness from the malt and balance out the bitterness of the Cryo. Comrade has never made an IPA I didn’t love.

Perfect Blue
Comrade Brewing
American IPA, 6.6% ABV
A West Coast IPA hopped with Strata, Citra, Nelson Sauvin, Citra HyperBoost™ & Cryo Columbus. This is an incredible IPA that I will order any time it’s on the menu. Super complex and everything a West Coast IPA should be—dank, piney, citrusy, bitter and refreshing.

Blueberry Lime
Stem Ciders
Fruited Cider, 6.1% ABV
Stem takes a delicious base cider and adds blueberries, limes and bergamot to create something even better. This is one of my favorite flavors they offer, and it’s even better when you enjoy it at Acreage with a view of the Flatirons in the background.
